| The Asheville Wedding Music Scene Asheville North Carolina is a popular wedding destination with it's beautiful mountains and numerous wedding venues. We will fit our music to various wedding sites from the beautiful Biltmore Estate to a small intimate garden location. Donna has performed as a harpist for weddings in churches, historic inns and Asheville resorts such as Grove Park Inn and the Biltmore Estate. Harp music can add an elegant touch to a wedding while only requiring one musician when budgets are tight! Harp and cello is a new combination gaining in popularity as well as the traditional harp and violin or harp and flute combinations. Our trio of harp, violin and cello provides a mix of classical, popular and international music for receptions as well as wedding ceremony music. To consider harp music for your wedding you can listen to music samples on our Music and Video page. 10/15/11: On a bright fall afternoon, I played Celtic harp for a wedding at the NC Arboretum in Asheville. It was in their beautiful amphitheater. There is no power available down there so I am so glad I brought my battery powered amp to enable guests to hear the harp. It was such a large open space I don't think the sound would have carried without the amp. 50 or so people and a long walk down the stairs for the bridal party. Another great destination wedding location in Asheville! |
